LeetCode streak reminders,
explained.

StreakGuard is an Android app that checks your LeetCode daily challenge and reminds you before the UTC reset when it is still unsolved. Once a solve is confirmed, it skips the reminder.

How can I remember my LeetCode daily challenge?

Choose reminder times that leave you enough time to solve before the daily reset. StreakGuard checks your public LeetCode username and sends a reminder if the daily challenge remains unsolved. Its default checks are 6, 3 and 1 hour before reset, and custom reminder times are available.

The app is a reminder tool. You still need to open LeetCode and solve the challenge yourself; StreakGuard does not automatically solve or submit problems.

When does StreakGuard remind me?

Reminders are scheduled relative to the daily reset at 00:00 UTC, rather than your local midnight. The same UTC reset can fall on a different local clock time depending on your location. Set times that fit your routine and give you a useful window to solve.

When a check confirms that you have already solved the daily challenge, StreakGuard skips that reminder. The checks need connectivity to retrieve your public challenge status.

Can StreakGuard recover a lost LeetCode streak?

No. StreakGuard helps you remember an upcoming daily challenge. It cannot restore a lost streak, edit your LeetCode history or guarantee that you will keep a streak. Your submissions and streak records are controlled by LeetCode.

Do I need to share my LeetCode password?

No. StreakGuard uses your public LeetCode username, not your login credentials. Checks run on your phone and query LeetCode’s public APIs. StreakGuard does not operate a server for these checks.

Does StreakGuard support GitHub, Codeforces or contest alerts?

Currently, StreakGuard focuses on LeetCode daily challenge reminders. GitHub integration, Codeforces and other coding platforms, and contest notifications are future plans. They are not available yet, and no release dates are promised.

See the future plans on the official landing page for the current direction.

Why might a reminder not arrive?

Reminder delivery depends on internet connectivity, notification permissions and Android battery settings. A reminder is also skipped when the daily challenge has been confirmed as solved.

If reminders are missing, check that your phone can connect to the internet, that StreakGuard can send notifications, and that your Android battery settings allow its background work. For app support, email [email protected].
